Professional services
Law firms, accountants, consultancies and advisory firms sell judgment and discretion, and are most exposed when either is questioned.
We advise law firms, accountancy and audit firms, consultancies, recruiters and specialist advisory firms, including several that are much older than we are. They come to us when a client, a competitor, a regulator or a former partner questions their judgment, their independence or their conduct.
Professional firms are unusually constrained in what they can say: by confidentiality to their own clients, by professional rules and often by litigation. They also tend to be unusually confident that they can handle it themselves. We help them say enough to protect the firm without saying anything a client would object to.
